This method helps prevent the formation of air bubbles between the inner wall of the tubing and the object being covered.<\/li>\n \t<li>If the object to be covered is made of metal or is a good heat conductor, it is recommended to preheat the object to avoid \u201ccold spots,\u201d allowing for a smooth and perfect fit of the heat shrink tubing.<\/li>\n \t<li>To prevent overheating of the heat shrink tubing, ensure even heat distribution.
