SAMPLES FOR TESTS AND TECHNICAL EVALUATIONS
By requesting the free set, you can test the sheaths and verify their mechanical, thermal and fire safety features, such as flexibility, high temperature resistance, behaviour in a fire and the production of toxic fumes. The set complies with European standard EN45545, ensuring the safety and conformity of wiring in rail transport.

What does the sampling set contain?

  • GTS-HP sheath: 2:1 ratio silicone heat shrink tube; Operating temperature: from -50°C to +200°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • GVS-AT sheath: flame-retardant silicone-coated fibreglass sheath; Operating temperature: from -60°C to +260°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • GVS-SIL sheath: silicone-coated fibreglass sleeve; thermal class C: 250°C; Operating temperature: from -60°C to +250°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • TS800-RI sheath: expandable braided polyester sleeve; Operating temperature: from -50°C to +150°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • WA-V0 sheath: self-closing wrap-around sheath; Operating temperature: from -40°C to +150°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • HFF-105 sheaths: 2:1 ratio heat shrink sheath; Operating temperature: from -55°C to +105°C; railway certification EN45545.
  • TC6 sheath: polyamide PA6 sheath; Operating temperature: from -40°C to +120°C; railway certification EN45545.

Critical Applications of Sheaths for Rolling Stock

The sample set allows testing the ideal solution for every critical rolling stock environment:

  • Underbody and bogie wiring: sheaths with high mechanical and chemical resistance for the protection of cables exposed to debris and atmospheric agents.
  • Traction and inverter systems: thermal insulation for high-power components subject to constant thermal cycles.
  • Inter-carriage connections: flexible solutions designed to withstand dynamic movements and continuous vibrations.
  • Signaling and interior systems: protection of wiring for lighting, monitoring and passenger information systems.
  • Infrastructure and tunnels: cable management in confined environments where toxic fumes are the main risk factor.

Delivery Terms

The expected times for order fulfillment are indicated in our Order Confirmation. In urgent cases, by contacting our sales office at the phone number 0373/920659, the shipment of goods can be managed within 24 hours from the date of our order confirmation. For all products not managed in stock, the shipment of goods will be carried out according to the agreements with our sales office.

Delivery

The delivery of goods is ex our warehouse. At the customer's request, our company offers a "Free Domicile with Invoice Charge" service using a shipper contracted with us. For more information regarding delivery, please consult our General Supply Conditions.

Warranty

RTE warrants, during the warranty period, to repair or replace free of charge those parts that, due to poor material quality or workmanship defects, prove to be defective, but only if they have been used in accordance with the provisions in the "Instruction, Use, and Maintenance Manuals", excluding any other damage and liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from improper use.
